also famous for bee keeping and Govt. trout farm at Patilkulh. The widest part
of Kullu Valley is katrain. Trout hatchery is also nearby. Sufficient

which slopes down to the broad expanse of clear white sand at the Parvati
river. The place is well known for trout fishing.
Largi : ( 957 metres ) 34 km. This is a small hamlet providing excellent
trout fishing. The famous rivers Sainj and Tirthan join the Beas a few hundred
metres below. Larji is patronised mostly by anglers.
Arjun Gufa (CAVE): 4 kms. from Manali towards Naggar, the cave is
situated near Prini village 1 km. above the road where Arjun had meditated. This
is good 1/2 a day excursion with charming view of the brilliant mountains.
BAJAURA: 15 kms short of Kullu, Bajaura is on the main road where
Basheshwar Mahadev Temple is situated about 200 m from the village in a plain
between the main road and the Beas river. It is believed to have been built in
the mid 8th century.

By Road: It is well connected by road from Chandigarh and Delhi and
situated on National Highway No 21. Regular buses, coaches and taxies ply from
Delhi and Chandigarh.
