in Himachal Pradesh. This village is 15 km south of Kullu, 55 km from Mandi and
5 km from Kulu Bhuntar Airport. There is a temple named Basheshwar Mahadev
Temple famous for stone carvings and sculptures. One can enjoy river rafting on
the Beas River from Manali to Jhiri near Bajaura.
Bijli Mahadev : 10 kms. from Kulu across the Beas river, this temple is
one of the striking temples in the temples. A panoramic view of Kulu &
Paravati valleys can be seen from the temple A 60 feet high staff of Bijli
Mahadev temple glistens like a silver needle in the sun. From the temple a

Camping Sight Raison : ( 1,433 metres ) 16kms. away from Kulu, the sight
is ideal for spending a quite holiday in solitary splendor and for holding
youth camps. There are a large number of orchards in this part of the valley.

Jagan Nath Temple : 3 km., a stiff climb leads one to the shrine from
where one gets a panoramic view of Kullu town.

Climate: In winter, the temperature can drop to below freezing point
when heavy woollens are required. Summer temperature are mild and light
woollens/cottons are recommended.
